[HCM][Agency] POPS Worldwide: Looking for Senior Brand Manager
I. JOB DESCRIPTION
POPS Worldwide is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Senior Brand Manager with proven achievement in brand strategy, product marketing and entertainment. At POPS, you will join a company leading digital entertainment in Southeast Asia and be responsible for accelerating our growth and increasing company value through strategic branding initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the strategic communication pipeline for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead consumer marketing effort and ensure consistent and rational brand communications across content verticals and regions both online and offline
- Reporting to the CEO, this individual will work cross functionally to influence consistent branding across the organization and throughout all subsidiaries
- Strategically drive shareholder value by elevated brand recognition internally and externally
- Set short and long-term brand objectives, strategies and action plans
- Generate consumer insights through research, category and competitive analysis, and POS data
- Clearly articulate brand objectives and strategies; Identify key product drivers and develop “go to market” strategies
- Developing marketing strategies and plans based on how consumers make decisions and serving consumer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Developing and recommending the vision and key strategies for the brand
- Translating consumer insights into the development of new ideas and products
- Represent and create opportunities to promote POPS at industry, tradeshows and similar events
- Conceptualize ad-hoc new business products
- Develop strong mission, vision and values by strongly coordinating with business unit leaders and board of management
- Monitor broad market trends, research consumer markets and competitor activities to identify opportunities, key challenges and develop GTM and counter-actions for them
- Anticipate bottlenecks and risks internally and externally
- Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics
- Create and execute on strategic brand operating plan
- Increase corporate and product brand equity over the long-term
- Consumer promotions – work with business unit leads to execute on consumer activations
- Some travel might be required
II. REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 10 years in the field of marketing and communications including at least 5 years of experience in a management position
- Proven working experience as a brand manager or associate brand manager at a well-recognized market segment leader
- Highly creative with an ability to think out of the box
- Experienced in successful execution of marketing campaigns on key marketing online channels (SEO, PPC, Email, Facebook, Ad networks, PR, etc.)
- Sound business judgment
- Experience in entertainment and/or media markets is a bonus
- Analytical, data-driven thinker who seeks innovative solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent English competency
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Experience in handling large, diverse marketing budgets
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
- Ability to work in a multinational environment
- Mastery of digital marketing strategy framework and media planning
- Passion and curiosity for digital marketing innovation
