POSITION TITLE: Senior Art Director
REPORTS TO: CEO
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CRITICAL DRIVERS:
What you’ll do:
In this role, you’ll be developing the concept, design and execution of groundbreaking creative solutions for integrated, cross-channel initiatives including large social media initiatives, online advertising, digital content (both video and beyond) and digital marketing.
Day to day, your role will include:
- Creating a range of powerful, viable concepts and designs for each project, partnering with our account management & strategists to ensure the direction and visual presentation work together to make the concept powerful and compelling.
- Working independently or in partnership alongside our Digital Art Director & Designer to develop innovative creative work.
- Communicating visual designs, motion design, concepts, and storyboards through presentations – and getting clients to approve (and love) the ideas.
- Leading the charge in creating content and engagement campaigns that wow both the client and our audience, executing and delivering on time, high quality creative materials.
- Delivers products in a timely fashion to meet set deadlines.
- Taking ownership of the visual elements of creative work for new business pitches
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good communication skills in both English and Vietnamese. Ability to be tactful and diplomatic in communication with individuals at all levels of the company, authority and vendors.
- A four-year degree, formal design training, plus five to seven years of art direction and strong digital design experience, preferably in a creative agency
- Great management and motivation skills.
- Exceptional work ethic, with strong values and principles. Understand the Company Culture + always find ways to add extra values.
- A naturally passionate individual with keen interest in personal + creative growth.
- Energy, a sense of humor and an open & curious mind (yes, these things really do matter)
- Exceptional conceptual and design skills and a robust portfolio that shows your talent in both print and Web
- Strong experience on large cross-channel and/or direct-marketing initiatives across media, both online and off, and a mastery of Web production and the capabilities within digital channels
- An expert understanding of Photoshop, Image Ready, Illustrator, and Quark/InDesign – plus (ideally) an understanding of Flash, After Effects, and video production
- A deep understanding of social media and social media content and how to craft content and assets for each particular channel.
- A collaborative spirit (we take the importance of “yes, and…” seriously)
- A knack for strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution
