The Creative Director at Mirum is ECD right hand. More than reporting to him, he’s giving him a regular over view of projects details, strength and weakness of our work and also of our team members. He has a great ability to foresee opportunities as well as issues and able to drag in the ECD in project when needed on time.

The Creative Director is a creative leader who can provide vision, solutions and inspiration to the team. He is responsible for building and directing a team of talented creative, designers and writers who consistently provide digital solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations. The person in this role will be expected to guide and mentor the creative team, constantly raising the bar on the work as well as creating a great team spirit.

This leadership is more than the project itself; it’s about getting the best from the people working for them so they stay engaged and happy. The Creative Director is in tune with the various personalities of the people on their team, and what makes them tick.

The Creative Director is a team player. Always willing to find solutions to optimize the work efficiency among teams. In partnership with the rest of the Executive team, the CD plays an essential role in business development, both guiding the work and participating in the pitch process. He/she will partner with Strategy and Account teams to uncover and recommend solutions to achieve our clients’ business needs.

The right person will have the confidence, passion and experience to sell their ideas and foster a culture of creativity within Mirum.

Skills Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience conceptualizing and designing rich interactive experiences for the web and other media
  • Experience leading small to medium-sized teams
  • Dynamic presentation and communication skills
  • Foster trust and collaborative dialog with clients and team members
  • Experiencing mentoring young creatives, designers, content team and recruiting talent
  • Strong point of view on creative ideas and ability to promote conceptual thinking among team
  • An ability to be patient and focused under tight deadlines
  • Able to craft great proposal on keynotes or PPT
  • Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator is a plus
  • Proficiency with After Effects is a bonus
  • Have strong personal organization skills and attention to detail

What You'll do

  • Collaborate with Project Managers & Strategists to come up with creative ideas.
  • Guide creative team, design team and content team to produce inventive, thoughtful, relevant work
  • Work with Interactive Technology Directors to lead innovative projects
  • Work closely with clients; listening to them and articulating their situation, goals, and requirements
  • Collaboratively establish the creative strategy for projects
  • Lead multiple projects; overseeing planning, concept development, design and implementation; assigning tasks and monitoring progress
  • Understand and work within project parameters: client goals and requirements, internal goals, usability, technical constraints, as well as budget and schedule
  • Participate in all aspects of your team’s projects, focusing on innovation and quality

  • Cultivate an understanding of industry trends and share your insights with the studio
  • Identify new business opportunities of interest to your team; participate in pitching and winning work; involve team members to define creative approach and scope
  • Mentor and support team members; understanding their strengths and weaknesses and recommending projects and training to help them develop
  • Experiment with new tools and techniques to improve our work
  • Cultivate an understanding of industry trends and share your insights with the studio
  • Interview and hire permanent team members, freelancers and interns
  • Conduct reviews for your team
