- Public Relation Media & Digital PR & Advertising
What You Will Do
- On Press Relations
o Successfully pitch interesting PR stories to the members of the press
o Cultivate healthy relationships with members of the press in print media, television media & radio on behalf of the agency - Junior level to senior level journalists, Editors-In-Chief
o Ability to identify opportunities and co-operation with media to raise appropriate PR campaigns to meet the set objectives of client’s business.
o Making follow-ups with the members of the press for approved campaigns
o Key Result/s:
ensure strong relationships with various members of the press in various industries – health, general news, women-related, fashion related, etc.
- On Press Write-Ups
o Supervise Press Releases development and delivery
o Develop interesting story angles that are relevant to the client’s PR Plan & objectives
o Develop Feature Articles and supervise implementation
o Develop features for television and supervise implementation
o Supervise and ensure quality of translation of write-ups from English to Vietnamese in a professional manner
- On Publicity Planning
o Develop straight-forward PR Plans following approved PR strategy
o Work closely with Account team to ensure most effective PR Plans before submission to client
o Look for media opportunities for PR Plans before submission to client
- On Client Relationships
o To be present in key meetings and present press relations views in a professional manner at all times
o Provide necessary inputs to client as needed
o Key Results:
ensure the media pick-up of press stories developed by the agency
ensure television coverage (news, feature, segments) of press news developed by agency
ensure that the angles of the stories published by the press is in line with the angles of stories of approved PR Plan
• Crisis Handling
In coordination with the PR Account Execs. Account Directors & MD/GM
• Managing Press Relations Department
• Assisting the MD/GM in servicing current clients of the Company as required
• Assisting the MD/GM in new business development.
• Provide leadership in Press Relations Management of all accounts and on-going projects
What You Are Good At
Minimum Years of experience: +4 year(s)
Minimum career level: Manager
More than +2 years of experience as Sr. Journalist, Press Relations Director/Manager or PR Manager
All applicants should have the following basic skills and qualifications:
1. University Graduate
2. Fluently spoken and written English
3. High literacy of computer and office software.
4. Solid working experience in PR agency
5. Good team leader & team player
6. Good attention to detail
7. Strategic thinking and innovative approach
8. Good sense of business and be presentable
Work Location: Ho Chi Minh
Salary: Negotiable
