A new age integrated digital marketing company is seeking a rock star Head of Digital Media to fill an exceptional opportunity in our growing communications team. The successful candidate will reach for strategic digital marketing solutions beyond the norm. They will act as an influential force to create media that makes a noticeable mark in culture. They will build a strong relationship with the clients and be seen as a trusted partner, helping to build their business and brand.
Key responsibilities
1. Act as the lead media contact for clients. Attend strategy meetings and brainstorm on media initiatives and recommendations.
2. Drive strategic media approach, write and present it to client.
3. Manage the media team. Train and supervise them.
4. Oversee planning and execution of all media activity, including strategic insights, cross-platform investment recommendations and plan activation.
5. Keep abreast of the latest digital trends and industry figures. Help foster a forward-thinking culture that keeps the company and our clients ahead of the curve.
6. Concept new ideas, innovation and relevant usage of new digital media in Mobile. Social and Content space.
7. Develop partnerships, negotiation strategies & integration programs with key vendors to drive the maximum ROI.
8. Monitor effectiveness of campaigns through the usage of Data and Analytic.
9. Develop strong and productive relationships across all internal departments.
10. Participate in new business development and growing current clients.
Requirements
I. 6-7 years of solid Digital agency media planning and supervisory experience.
II. In-depth understanding of Paid Owned and Earned media.
III. Well versed with planning, buying and implementation across all digital platforms including Social, Mobile, Video, Search and Display.
IV. Strong client service background, superior management skills, influential and respected leadership skills and innovative thinking.
V. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
