The Geek - Digital Marketing Specialist

Our digital marketing specialist is the Geek who will be responsible for developing a great online presence and advocating brand effectively. If you’re inquisitive, solution-oriented, and enjoy the digital marketing process, you’ll love this position!

Responsibility

• Website: Leverage knowledge of current SEO and web design practices to update website content (pages, press releases, events, articles, etc.) as directed. You need to have proven experience maintaining visually appealing websites that attract and convert.
• Analytics: Measure online marketing metrics using analytics tools including Google Analytics, KissMetrics, etc.
• Social Media: Monitor social media platforms.
• Campaigns: Implement email marketing campaign workflows. Running ad campaigns across multiple platforms such as Adwords, Facebook might be required.
• Misc: Joining a small marketing team requires flexibility. Daily tasks might also include research, preparing materials for events, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; Marketing Degree preferred
• At least 1-2 years direct experience with digital marketing, especially SEO
• Working knowledge of Google Analytic, WordPress, Photoshop, and keyword tools are preferred.
• Able to learn and understand technology, data structure, and technical concepts.
• Knowledge of all aspects of email marketing and online advertising campaigns including functionality, delivery, analysis, best practices, and metrics.
• Result-oriented team player, flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Stay on top of marketing trends and news e.g. Google updates and changes in algorithms, new online marketing channel updates.
