A. SCOPES OF DUTIES:

The Representative Office of The University of Hong Kong in Vietnam (HKU-VN) is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to collaborate with the Head of Marketing in executing comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the university’s strategic goals. This role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities and requires a dynamic individual who can manage various marketing initiatives effectively.

Marketing Execution

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing to design and implement the university's marketing plan in Vietnam.

  • Undertake end-to-end marketing campaigns, from initial planning to monitoring ROI and reporting.

  • Manage brand resources and processes to enable consistent brand delivery, i.e., message frameworks, visual assets, key terminology and highlights.

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to support the Rep Office's growth by developing content marketing and demand generation strategies that drive awareness and engagement with HKU.

  • Manage contents and visuals on all marketing channels including websites, social platforms, email marketing, brochures, posters...

  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing advertisement in alignment with the overall marketing roadmap.

  • Oversee the production of marketing materials and communications, following the brand guidelines; coordinate with designers, copywriters, and suppliers as needed.

  • Conduct market research, including trend analysis, competitor assessment, and target customer analysis, to inform future value propositions.

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all undergraduate and postgraduate programs in HKU.

  • Stay current with emerging marketing trends, tools, and channels.

  • Engage in ad hoc projects as needed.

  • Act as back-up for the Head of Marketing in the areas/occasions needed.

Communications

  • Contribute to PR management under the direction of the Head of Marketing.

  • Develop communications, outreach, and/or marketing strategies – include message delivery for initiatives that aim to influence conversion of potential customers to paid customers.

  • Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including functions and faculties from headquarter, business partners, local presses, students and alumni unions, etc.

Event Organising

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic events that drive lead generation.

  • Organise and attend educational seminars, workshops, information sessions, consultation sessions, immersion trips and customer hospitality events as required.

  • Undertake post-event evaluations, emails and reports.

B. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant qualification such as a Marketing Degree/Diploma/Certificate or Business Degree/Diploma/Certificate with a focus on Marketing.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

  • Exposure to or experience in the educational field is a plus.

  • Comfortable in formulating marketing strategies and creative concepts.

  • Have knowledge of digital and social marketing techniques.

  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Typeform, Mailchimp, etc.

  • Basically know how to use design tools such as PSD, AI, Canva.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong time management and task management abilities.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Resourceful problem-solver with a proactive attitude towards finding solutions.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
