Position:                          Account Supervisor (Full-time)

Location:                         Account Department, Anh Dao Media & Event Office

Reports to:                      Account Manager

Main purpose:                Manage the work of advertising and event

Job Description:

The Account Supervisor (in both of advertising and event) acts as a link between clients and the adverting agency. You usually report to Account Manager and are responsible for the day-to-day running of their clients’ campaigns. You liaise between the client and a range of agency staff in order to coordinate the details of advertising and event management campaigns.

The Account Supervisor works closely with the clients throughout campaigns, managing administrative and organizational work, and ensuring that this is completed on time and on budget.

The role can involve handling the accounts of three to four clients or more accounts.

Requirements:

• Degree: 3+ years interactive advertising; marketing; communications; 3+ years of business/management experience preferred; English.

• Evidence: Strong project management skills, excellent communication,  interpersonal and team skills; a proactive and highly organized approach with an  ability to motivate, persuade and deal with a broad range of people, from creative  to clients; demonstrated commitment to teamwork and account results; a real  passion for advertising, event management and an understanding of what makes a  good advertisement; the ability to work under pressure and assimilate large  quantities of information quickly whilst paying attention to details; resilience, to  enable you to deal with problems and constructive criticism; commercial  awareness; a willingness to learn; an awareness of how the industry is developing  in the light of new communication technologies.

• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience giving presentation to clients; Word, Excel, PowerPoint Skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle regular and consistent contact with clients.

• Oversee and manage complex advertising and event projects.

• Regularly counsel clients on advertising and event campaigns and marketing strategies.

• Directly manage a team of individuals, being accountable for their career development.

• Troubleshoot client issues.

• Developing and executing projects including writing strategy, researching competitors, and writing summaries.

• Draft proposals, budgets and timelines for client projects.

• Understand basic organize techniques and methodologies and use them to support development/execution of client campaigns.

• Exhibit strong understanding of market and creative capabilities.

• Be responsible for planning, organization and client profitability.

• Presenting project and creative work to clients for approval or modifications.

• Look for opportunities to develop business with existing clients (including cross selling) and with potential clients.

• Acts as primary point-of-contract for client and manages a portfolio of accounts.

• Using an existing network of industry contacts to generate revenue;

• Leading and training other members of the account team;

• Managing the work of account executives;

• Leading project management activity;

• Ensuring necessary actions are undertaken by the account team;

• Achieving sales targets;

• Delivering sales presentations to high-level executives;

• Attending client meetings;

• Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients;

• Completing administrative work, as required.

• Leads day-to-day management and optimization of client campaigns;

• Assists in strategy development;

• Authors campaign summary/analysis;

• Demonstrates working knowledge of each area of agency’s resources, in order to evaluate recommendations before presenting to the client;

• Proactively finds new ways to build the client’s business and grow accounts;

• Proactively seeks and finds new clients to grow agency’s business;

• Masters and maintains vast knowledge of client’s business, competition, and latest industry news and trends;

• Discussing the products, services and advertising requirements of each particular client;

• Setting up meetings with clients and other agency staff;

• Delegating work to other members of the agency team;

• Working with the account manager to brief media, creative, event, production and research staff, and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies;

• Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and advertising and event agency by maintaining regular contract with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively;

• Overseeing the status of advertising and event campaigns;

• Negotiating with clients and agency staff about the details of campaigns;

• Presenting project and creative work to clients for approval or modification;

• Meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks;

• Handling budgets and managing campaign costs;

• Writing reports, keeping records and financial details;

• Helping to secure new business;

• Undertaking administrative tasks;

• Monitoring the profitability of accounts;

• Managing administration staff (in some cases);

• Becoming familiar with the nature of clients’ products, business culture and competition and understanding the possibility of changes to these;

• Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns;

• Arranging and attending meetings and reporting on key decisions.
