Video Editor
Overview
As a Video Editor, you will work closely with our Creative Director, Producer and Content Creators to edit client work videos for one of the world's largest streaming platforms Netflix.
Key responsibilities

Participate in the conceptualization of repeatable video formats and reactive shoot concepts.

Go through footage, and select scenes based on their dramatic and entertainment value and contribution to story continuity. The editor is looking for the best combination of cinematography, performance, consistency and timing, to edit video for Netflix Vietnam social channels (Facebook, IG, Tiktok and Youtube)

Trim the segments of footage to the lengths needed for the film and assemble them into the best sequence to tell the story

Suggest and select suitable music for videos

Insert music, dialogue and sound effects, using editing equipment

Review the edited video, make corrections and prepare it as a first cut, or rough cut for Creative Producer or Creative Director

Make revisions, as requested by the director and producers, and prepare the final cut for release

Ensure that the quality of all video assets created by and for Netflix Vietnam adheres to brand guidelines and are consistent with the standards of best-in-class creative.

Participate and contribute actively to daily brainstorming and discussions, on top of regularly scheduled and as-needed WIP meetings.
Qualifications

Proficient in using specific editing software packages such as Avid, Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro
Skills
You will need to show:

Communication skills, written and oral in both English and Vietnamese.
