Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY: 

A Social Outreach Specialist is responsible for developing, monitoring and updating social media outreach campaigns and strategies. You will closely manage clients’ influencer, advocacy and other outreach activities.  

Social Outreach Specialists leverage social media trends and technology to identify and build relationships with best-fit influencers and other social media third-parties in full-scale outreach campaigns. You ensure strategic influencer marketing that delivers highly effective, creative and measurable outcomes.  

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

SOCIAL OUTREACH MANAGEMENT: 

  • Strategic planning for social media outreach projects, developing execution and content plans 

  • Compile rate card, estimated costs for social media outreach campaigns 

  • Manage influencers, talents and other third-parties throughout the collaboration, from identification to negotiation, contracting and briefing 

  • Attend offline events to manage talents onsite, if needed 

  • Manage daily tasks of appointed projects across identified social outreach channels  

  • Work with content producer, designers to deliver content calendars with various content types across outreach channels including but not limited to influencer content, forum seeding, etc. ensuring strategic alignment, consistency and brand compliance 

  • Work closely with other team members and departments to amplify influencer engagements and posts with paid media, third-party collaborations, PR 

  • Strategically monitor and report on performance of social outreach channels 

  • Provide input into the further development of clients’ social media outreach strategy 

  • Research, identify tools and develop ways to enhance and innovate influencer identification, management and evaluation 

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: 

  • Support superiors to plan and lead the activities of the Social team 

  • Contribute to an open and collaborative team atmosphere 

  • Share information effectively and maintain strong working relationships with other teams 

  • Maintain positive relations with third parties important to clients’ social outreach activities 

CLIENT CONSULTING & FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: 

  • Write client deliverables such as social outreach reports, proposals or other content to a high standard; and present to clients accordingly 

  • Use critical thinking to clarify and expand instructions 

  • Use questioning techniques and listening skills to deepen your understanding of client’s social outreach issues and briefs 

  • Attend and take initiative in brainstorms for clients, and apply creative thinking and problem solving to all aspects of work 

  • Build your network within the social media community (influencers, online communities, etc.) and leverage it to positively impact client work 

  • Show understanding of integrated marketing (PR/Digital/Experiential) 

  • Develop understanding of how to manage clients’ social outreach projects profitably 

  • Maintain first class administration on all projects 

  • Write Vietnamese perfectly, with very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: 

  • Develop a good knowledge of current social media trends, technology and industry developments that affect our agency’s business as well as clients’ 

  • Identify opportunities for new social outreach work on existing clients and work to seize these together with senior team members 

Qualifications

+3 years of experience with a proven track record in strategic influencer marketing
