Position: BRAND & COMMUNICATION STRATEGY TRAINEE (4-6 months, with monthly allowance and full 18-module training)

Department: Planning

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the planning team in conducting primary and secondary research to mine insights around the category, brand, culture and consumers, as well as turn research findings into rich presentations and strategic ideas/inspiration

  • Support the development of strategy, creative brief and presentation

  • Collaborate with and inspire creative teams throughout the ideation process

Requirements:

  • Curiosity, sensitivity and willingness to get your hands dirty

  • A self-starter who is highly organized, disciplined, detail orientated and able to juggle multiple projects at the same time, sometimes with tight deadline and under pressure

  • Positive, inspiring and able to bring fresh perspectives to the team

  • Basic understanding of consumer research methodologies (quantitative & qualitative)

  • Background in e-commerce/data strategy and a keen interest in innovation/ technology are a plus

TASK 1: 

We are here for a 15-year-old music streaming platform brand in Vietnam (available both mobile app and web). The brand has a great traffic from their loyal millennial customers. However, they leave the door open on the younger segment. In specific, the brand aims to recruit more attraction from Vietnamese urban GenZ music lovers.

We need you to conduct research to understand:

  1. What are the key behaviors of GenZ in terms of content consumption that differs them from other generations?
  2. When it comes to music and music streaming, what are the key trends and behaviors of GenZ? 
  3. If you can add and promote ONE product feature and communicate about it to make our platform engaging with Gen Z, what would it be and why?

You can choose any research methods (qualitative interview/ quantitative survey/ reference from the publicly available report) or combine to help you mine those insights and submit your findings and analysis in any format you're most comfortable with, be it a presentation, video or essay.

This Tet, the brand aims to recruit more 18+ Vietnamese urban GenZ users to download and use the app.

  1. When it comes to payment, what are the key behaviors of GenZ that differs them from other generations?
  2. When it comes to mobile payment in specific, what are the key trends and behaviors of GenZ? 
  3. If you can add and promote ONE product feature to get more Gen Z to download and use our payment app during Tet, what would it be and why?

You can choose any research methods (qualitative interview/ quantitative survey/ reference from the publicly available report) or combine to help you mine those insights and submit your findings and analysis in any format you're most comfortable with, be it a presentation, video or essay.
