[HCM] [Agency] Kantar: Account Manager/ Senior Account Manager - Insights
Role Description
The primary responsibility is to provide day-to-day support to Directors and Managers across a range of accounts and create a meaningful impact on our client’s businesses. As a key interface between Kantar and our clients, the role includes client engagement, consultancy, study design, and analysis, driving preparation of presentations and reports as well as internal responsibilities such as project management, and coaching junior staff.
Key responsibilities
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
• Manages accounts to ensure as a team all account deliverables are met
• Accountable for the accurate and timely delivery of account outputs including data tables, KPIs, presentations,
reports and workshops – balancing own analysis and creation of deliverables with delegating within the team
• Responsible for accurate analyses, data checks, writes, checks and crafts reports and presentations to ensure
deliverables meet client/seniors needs and generate insight and impact for clients business
• Delegates to team effectively, providing constructive feedback and support for other account members to ensure
account responsibilities and deliverables are met to a high standard in agreed timelines
• Maximises account efficiency by reviewing, improving and streamlining processes and systems without
compromising quality
ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH EXPERTISE
• Implements appropriate research solutions to drive meaningful insight for clients’ needs and their business
• Applies experienced costing, sample design, questionnaire design, data spec and chart spec principles
• Takes a lead role to formulate, articulate and validate hypotheses to help build appropriate, relevant and
impactful stories
• Understand and synthesize data from various sources (e.g. sales data, media spend data)
CLIENT MANAGEMENT AND CONSULTANCY
• Apply an experienced level of knowledge and understanding of your clients and their business in all interactions with clients, and deliverables and analysis conducted for them. Knowledge including;
• Key clients, key stakeholders, and their needs
• The client’s business and strategy
• Client brands and communication activity
• Client markets and competitors
• Deliver effective advice for your clients
• Contribute to, and facilitate client discussions to better understand their business issues
• Experienced interpretation of data and ability to articulate insights clearly and impactfully
• Provide a point of view on brand, media, and communications issues aligned with Kantar philosophies
• Develop strong relationships with clients to the extent they are perceived as a key members of the team that
• can offer advice and support
• Present impactfully on some accounts
• Demonstrate confidence and good interpersonal skills in client-facing situations
• Actively contributes to client and agency meetings
Role Requirements
• 3-4 years relevant research, brand, media, or communications experience with direct involvement in analysis of
research or interpretation of data sources
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese
• Computer-literate, MS Office
• Able to work with others as a team
