[HCM] [Leo Burnett] Traffic Controller Freelance (project management)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Traffic Controller is responsible for managing the flow of work to ensure materials and resources flow through the company in a timely manner. Accountable and responsible for the coordination of work between the Account Service Department, Creative Department, Strategic Planning Department, Production Department and external parties such as freelancer, Visualizer etc., to ensure the flow of work and quality in delivering the company services.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Reports into leadership team including Director of Creative, Executive Creative Director and Project Manager. (Direct Report: Director of Creative);
- Partners with project managers to help facilitate clarifying conversations on project particulars, expedite solutions related to workflow obstacles and a myriad of needs that enable teams to exceed client expectations;
- Understands both the strategic and tactical priorities for the organization and communicates these clearly and consistently to the teams;
- Establishes and maintains open communication with the designers, creative directors, project managers and account managers to determine schedules, conflicts in schedules, skills balancing on the team and approaching deadlines and actions needed;
- Adapt at managing a limited supply of resources against constantly changing demands;
- Must have a good view on what is coming up and creating short, mid, and long-term resource plans. As part of planning, the trainee needs to be aware of the changing needs and priorities of the enterprise to ensure that the resources available to do the work have the requisite time and skills to do the work;
- Creates project plans, workflow structure, and provides resource allocation;
- Review daily work schedules of creative members; organize, prioritize and dispatch the workload;
- Compile and update studio schedules regularly, keeping all departments informed about project status;
- Update and maintain status reports for studio workload.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field (design, marketing, advertising) preferred.
- Working freelancer for 6 months
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Ability to interact effectively and appropriately with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines.
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills required.
- Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating, and agency profitability.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
