Key Responsibilities
- Source and qualify leads and pursue prospective Merchants for closure with sales cycle from researching prospects to cold calling, meetings, pitching, consulting, negotiating and closing deals
- Select Merchants to work with to come up with packages for deals to sell to customers (eg. beauty, fitness, services, activities etc.)
- Analyse and identify existing merchants’ needs and proposed effective solutions and agreements, and ensure growth in their business by connecting with a new customer base
- Procure a range of local services and provide a customizable way for these services to connect with a potentially new customer base
- Negotiate terms of sale, price point, margins and inventory management
- Recommend appropriate pricing strategies
- Work closely with key opinion leaders to plan, implement marketing strategies and promotional programs which are in line with company’s growth direction
- Research on services that are in-demand to keep up with industry trends and pricing dynamics
- Manage category selection to optimize sales and the customer experience
- Achieve sales target and identify strategic partnership collaboration with brands
- Work collaboratively with cross-department teams to achieve organisational goals
Education and Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Business Management or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in both online sales
- Excellent in communication and negotiation skills
- Highly sales-focused, self-motivated and dynamic individual
- Able to work in a fast-paced and result-oriented environment
