[HCM][Client] Home Brands by Central Group Vietnam: Product Development Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Product Development Manager, Interior Design to join our team and will work closely with Brand Director in finding innovative ways to communicate brands’ image following Group’s strategies.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Product Development:

  • Analyze the function of living space to understand the customer needs and desires, define requirements for new products
  • Propose creative combinations of home furnishing to create or renovate space to make it to be more organized, personalized and cozy within limit budget.
  • Make sure the visual concept of each store go along with brand concept
  • Manage Product Lifecycle: Based on product performance, determines when actions are needed to upgrade, improve, revise or reposition products, or when actions are needed to revise product promotional programs and product pricing.

Sourcing:

  • Use all the possible sources of information to identify the validated origins and potential new suppliers.
  • Manage the portfolio of products to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Visit the supplier’s factories and show-rooms.
  • Visit nationals and internationals exhibitions in order to always be informed about new trends and events in the sector.
  • Guarantee the daily communication between the suppliers and the merchandisers.

Offering – Negotiation:

  • Request for quotation and prices negotiation with suppliers.
  • Propose competitive sourcing solutions to merchandisers aligned with purchase order annual plan.
  • Prepare and follow up the offers with buyers until receiving order confirmations.

Coordination:

  • Coordinates with marketing team to make sure the launch of a new product successfully.
  • Coordinates with relevance departments to make sure the completion of orders from shipment to arrival
  • Manage the issues or problems to his/her manager/ superior with solutions proposal

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge:

  • Interior Designer background (> 5 yrs working experience)
  • International Trade and commercial practices.
  • Familiar with the retail business and legal requirements

Technical skills:

  • High commercial awareness
  • Sales Analysis and Forecasting
  • Experienced in range planning

Transverse professional skills:

  • High communication ability. Good level of English.
  • Being able to manage time effectively.
  • Multiple tasks oriented.
  • Being resourceful and creative.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Teamwork Spirit.

  • Bachelor and above (Marketing/ Interior Design related degree is a plus)
  • At least 3 years of experience in relevant area concerning international trading or organization, import-export. Previously worked in well-known retail, sourcing companies, trading or buying offices.
  • Vietnamese native, fluent in both writing and speaking English. Good computer skills (Microsoft office/ Outlook, etc.)
