[HN][Agency] We Create Content: Seeking for Senior Designer

Who are we?!

We Create Content is a Vietnam's only dedicated content marketing agency. With premium content concepts, production, distribution and measurement, we help brands tell stories to meet their business objectives. We also do branding development, such as positioning and visual identity.

What’s the role?

The Senior Designer will work on all We Create Content projects. From client branding and printlayout, to web design, graphic illustration and photo manipulation, you will always have something to work on and content creation deadlines to meet.

This role will mean working with many different people in the agency (editors, video producers, illustrators and copywriters) and will be reporting to the Art Director of We Create Content. You will work with and manage freelance graphic designers and illustrators when necessary, keeping a network of top class graphic designers and creatives close by. They will also create insightful design-based posts for the We Create Content social media channels, and work on new business pitches for the Business Development team.

Key responsibilities...

• Understand client briefs on behalf of the art team and always call back to client needs
• Review junior designers’ work to ensure high quality, and be involved in team appraisals
• Ensure all WCC artwork is considered, well researched, on brief, following brand guidelines and completed on time to the Art/Creative Director
• Maintain world-class quality for all visual outputs for We Create Content
• Manage freelance design briefs and manage freelance creatives for the agency
• Work with external suppliers such as printers and/or other agencies to ensure work is completed to the standards expected by WCC
• Help the agency win new business with strong, creative pitch documents and other related works when requested
• Collaborate with Producers, Production Managers and Account Management Team
• Meet and Present to clients when necessary
• Produce design-based content for WCC in downtime
• Grow technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies and sharing knowledge with WCC teammates
• Ensure all deadlines are met on behalf of the art department

Successful candidates will have:

• Agency experience working on branding and content outputs in both editorial and advertising industries - using Adobe CC, other softwares a bonus
• Time management skills to ensure all artwork is of the highest standard and sent to the Creative Director / client / published on time
• Ability to get on with projects, and take initiative, ownership and responsibility
• Desire and commitment to see projects through, maintaining premium quality and positive attitude throughout
• First class attention to detail and the hunger to always do better. Never settle for average
• Hunger to stay inspired by global design trends and world class work while sharing this with the team and inspiring your colleagues
• Clear communication both verbally and written, in English and Vietnamese
