AdCrew is a global agency which is leading in Pharmaceutical Marketing. In 2019, we are opening a new branch which needs to recruit a Supply Chain Internship to support the Distribution team with supervisionof the inbound and outbound traffic. This role as a logistics and distribution manager is to organise the storage and distribution of goods. You'll ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. You may also be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.

Understanding the whole supply chain is important so that you can coordinate it effectively and liaise with suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the BOD with the management of the buying and delivery process of goods or services
• Gain a good understanding of goods distribution to retail stores and supermarkets
• Gain an awareness of the necessary level of inventories control; learning how to budget, forecast, invoice and maintain tight management of ongoing purchasing activities
• Negotiate rates with carriers ensuring that you secure the best possible rates in line with the company’s buying policy. You will also coordinate all inbound and outbound traffic, maximizing cost-effectiveness and tracking all consignments
• Assist with developing business strategies
• Do necessary market researches to develop an overview of the local retail market
• Source, contract, brief and manage external contractors and suppliers

NOTE

Related work experience, such as warehousing, storage, retail or administration, could be an advantage and is relatively easy to obtain.
If you're an undergraduate student wishing to apply to this position, you need to make sure to manage your time between work and university.

REQUIREMENT

• Logistics and International business background
• Research new opportunities and manage the company’s entry and development strategy for the markets.
• Negotiate and close business to exceed targets, engaging multiple stakeholders (internal and external) in the sales process.
• Recognise and recommend improvements to existing processes, marketing activities, and product portfolio in order to improve revenue performance from the sector.
• Produce regular reports and business updates as required.
• Complete tasks requested by the Managing Director in support of the business.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS

If English is not your native language, you will be required to demonstrate a minimum English proficiency standard at a BULATS Intermediate level (BULATS score 65), equivalent to
IELTS (General)6.5. AdCrew will require you to complete a BULATS test to assess your level of English before an offer of employment can be made.
