Position: Communications Specialist

Report to: Branding & Communications Lead

WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

This is a highly collaborative role; you’ll work with Talent Acquisition, Technical, Marketing, PR & Design team or resource groups, to identify opportunities that support your goals.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. External Communications:
    • Ensure that recruiting and employer branding messages are leveraged across audiences for maximum impact.
    • Create impactful content such as infographics, blogs, articles, job ads, videos in line with our recruiting and marketing event strategies.
    • Plan the monthly content calendar on Facebook and produce weekly content schedules that bring to life the brand narrative & personality.
    • Find and build new right channels to reach new talents.
    • Organize all external events such as Job Fair, Career Talks, Seminars…
    • Cooperation and maintaining good relationships with universities, conference organizers, and meet-ups.

  1. Internal Communications:
    • Help plan and execute internal events: YEP, team building, ZA feast, etc.
    • Be the contact point to work with Design team for all internal events.
    • Design activities and communications campaigns that will increase employee motivation.
    • “Own” relevant storylines and channels; achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.
    • Produce dynamic content for internal audiences, including storytelling, articles, announcements, social posts, speeches, videos, presentations, etc.
    • Manage an ongoing forum to improve two-way communications and engagement among Zaloers.
    • Mentor and cross-train other team members.

YOU WILL BE A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IF:

You possess:

  • Experience working on projects that include internal and external stakeholders of various levels.
  • Ability to work on several campaigns at once, solve problems logically and meet deadlines without disruption to daily operations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to push yourself in innovative thinking when it comes to events, initiatives and social media
  • A great relationship builder.
  • A strong writer, with the ability to develop key messages in bright and energetic tone.
  • An experience in the technical environment would be preferred.
